Gender Sexuality and Identity (WS2360) students interviewed older adults (60 plus) in the EP/CJ community in the fall of 2022. Students were interested in understanding the ways that acceptance of gender identity and sexual orientation have changed over time and the ways these seniors understood their own gender identity development and sexual orientation. Many seniors reflected on both their personal experiences with acceptance and the ways their own children have played critical roles as educators with these topics.
