Abstract
"There are things known and things unknown and in between are the doors." This quote is from Aldous Huxley's book The Doors of Perception which tells of his experience from the natural psychedelic drug, mescaline. This quote is about the knowledge that comes to someone who works hard opening the doors around them, exploring what they find there and letting knowledge flow in. Doors hold back access to secrets available only to those with the ability, or bravery, to open them. Literal doors make our neighbors a bit of an enigma since we donâ??t really know what goes on behind them. A locked door adds interest to the space on the other side. The mystery is intriguing and can lead to secrets being discovered and stories shared. It is just such a door that led to Saving Solstice.
