Abstract
The connective tissue in this collection of poetry entitled, "Conversations with Myself" is in the exploration of internal thoughts that make up insecurities, regrets, fantasies, desires, and fear as they relate to self, others, and society. Internal thoughts live in a tension of the past, present, or possibility that form the anxieties and/or serenity we carry with us. It is a question of identity and experiences and how the mind twists and turns these moments to shape an individualâ??s perception.
