His father was repatriado during the Depression; Arturo owned and operated a bar in South El Paso for 8 years; hired numerous undocumented workers; various incidents involving undocumented people, including crossing of the river; life styles of undocumented barmaids and other bar employees; undocumented women who have tried to have their children in El Paso; work for cigarette vendors; his bar was held up once and burglarized several times.
