Biographical Synopsis of Interviewee
Mrs. Herminia M. Chavez is a native El Pasoan and has lived in El Paso all her life, except for one year (which she spent in California), and is a community leader. She is a fourth generation El Pasoan on one side of her family. During all her school years up to high school she achieved the highest grades in her classes. At present she is working toward a Bachelor's degree in Education.
