Biographical Synopsis of Interviewee
Eleuterio Flores was born on February 20, 1935, in Miacatlán, Morelos, México; he grew up in a family of farm workers, and labored in sugar cane plantations near his hometown; due to a lack of formal schooling, he learned basic reading and writing from his father; he worked as a bracero from 1956 to 1963 in California and Texas.
