Abstract
The UTEP African American Studies Office collection, MS635, dates from the 1900s to 2013. The collection contains materials about Douglass High School in El Paso, African American history in El Paso, Dr. Lawrence Nixon, and race in the United States. Types of records includes photographs, yearbooks, clippings, booklets, and other items. The program was established in 1996.
