Abstract
The Hotel Dieu School of Nursing opened in El Paso in 1898 as a training school for nurses. The Hotel Dieu School of Nursing records date from 1944 to 1987, bulk 1980 to 1981. Types of records include photographs, by-laws and section rules, yearbooks and directories, library plans, receipts, journal and magazine subscriptions, furniture specifications and catalogs, requisitions, bibliographies, lists of holdings, book orders, reports, handbooks, guides, minutes, newsletters and bulletins, general correspondence, forms, training information, publications, and medical information and correspondence from local doctors and hospitals.
