Abstract
Burt Franklin Jenness was a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, physician, and adjunct professor for the College of Mines and Metallurgy (Texas Western) in El Paso, Texas. The B.F. Jenness papers date from 1921 to 1967, bulk 1955. Types of papers include blank medical forms, health notes, health bulletins, health reports, correspondence, research, class and lecture notes, publications, newspaper clippings, and photographs. These materials help document Dr. Jenness’s teaching career at the College of Mines and Metallurgy, role as the school’s Health Services Officer, and works of poetry.
