Abstract
Otto H. Thorman, an important and successful local architect, was born on April 12, 1887 in Missouri and passed away on March 11, 1966 in El Paso. The Thorman collection dates 1919 – 1940, bulk 1919 – 1927. Types of records include invoices, weekly payroll receipts, city permits, and correspondence. These materials primarily relate to Thorman’s work on the Dr. H.H. Stark residence on Austin Terrace. The collection also includes some correspondence from the Marr Mortgage Loan Company to Bertha Thomlinson in 1940.
