An online document as an artifact of culture
Abstract
My practicum project involved the development and partial writing of a Website for a local church organization, the Christian Center of Restoration. I developed all of the architecture for the Website, including all pages and links, and wrote the introductions to each of the pages. The pages of some of the links were left blank, as my intention in creating the Website was not only to make it an educational tool, but a way for leading church members to visit the links and contribute their own knowledge of church culture to the Website. These members will build upon the foundation that I have established. This Website will be the start of a collaborative effort among leaders in the church and a beneficial instrument of motivation for the whole congregation. (Abstract shortened by UMI.)
