A specification for an extensible access control Web service featuring access control lists and role-based access control models
Abstract
Computer Security has become a critical requirement when designing and developing new software and Access Control is a key component. In this thesis, the author defines a specification of an Access Control Web Service (ACWS) that can be implemented to provide centralized Access Control administration to software systems in a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA).
