European Migration Crisis. Aspects of Border Control

Abstract

My thesis focuses on the problem of the European Migration Crisis. I ask the question what the EU can do to improve control over its borders. I analyze the 2016 Frontex reform and investigate whether cooperation between the EU and NGOs on search and rescue operations is possible.
