Abstract

Hugh Bascom Wilson (May 5, 1890 – October 17, 1985) was born in Mississippi and served in WWI as a private in the U.S. Army. The collection consists of materials relating to the history of the El Paso Division of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company. Materials include books, photographs, maps, periodicals, blueprints, blue line drawings, reports, bulletins, and correspondence. Also included is a copy of a manuscript that was written in 1923 by Clifford R. Morrill and then revised in 1970 by Hugh B. Wilson titled Railroad History: El Paso Division, Southern Pacific. The materials date from 1881 – 1973.
