Abstract

The Civilian Conservation Corps (1933 – 1942) was a public relief work program in the United States for unmarried and unemployed young men during the Great Depression. The Civilian Conservation Corps – Fort Bliss District collection, MS684, dates 1936, 1952. The collection includes the CCC – Fort Bliss District official annual of 1936 (includes some photographs and autographs), a CCC company 2842 badge, and a 1952 issue of The Stabilizer. These items belonged to Hilman Frock, a CCC participant.
