Preventing lumbar injuries in rotational striking athletes

Lumbar injuries among athletes in rotational striking sports (i.e., golf, baseball, tennis, and hockey) are greater than in nonrotational sports. preventing these injuries is a matter of understanding lumbar rotational forces and proper exercise programming. this article provides insights into why lumbar injuries are so prevalent in rotational sports as well as general exercise programming suggestions for athletes in rotational sports.
